See what people say about us!

Victoria has described herself “as an agent of change, a passionate catalyst, who aspires to augment the existing post-secondary education conversations to be more inclusive of diverse viewpoints.” I agree with her statement and can attest to seeing her do this during her time with us. She is able to use her fine analytical skills and keen ability to engage others in the organization to help design the appropriate strategies that will lead to the desired goals. Her successful efforts resulted in our surpassing our strategic goal of the enrollment of ALANA students. … She has walked the same path that many of the students are walking and has done very well. She can be an inspiration and a role model to them during their journey.

“My daughter Bharti, and I were looking for a good college or university in the New England area. We visited the University of Vermont, but we didn’t know there was another one of the best colleges in that region – St. Michael’s College (SMC).  A few months later, we got an invitation to visit SMC for an overnight stay; meet and talk to academia and other visiting parents. Victoria was the first person we met at SMC. Within a few seconds of meeting with Victoria, I got a good positive vibe that SMC was the academic institution we were searching for. We explored the college, region, and more importantly the student community during the day and night. Driving back home, Bharti told me SMC was the college she would be attending for her undergrad. She went to SMC and graduated successfully. All this happened because of Victoria. We are thankful to her! I am out of words, but at least I can say she knows what could be a best-fit academic institution for a student much better than a parent!”

“I am grateful for the guidance and dedication Victoria Celestin put forth toward the 6 student-athletes, including my son, who moved from Miami to the North East to begin their college careers. Ms. Celestin used her expertise and personability to help transition these boys from high-school to college-level academics. She was attentive to each student and took personal time and attention and most importantly cared for the needs of the students.

Ms. Celestin displayed empathy and skill in helping these students navigate and balance their academics and soccer careers. She had a personal approach with each student and their parents and to this day still maintains a relationship with each of them.”

Dr. Ismael Roque-Velasco

“As a British expat raising four boys full-time in New England, I knew nothing of the college entrance process in America. From Common App, SATs, financial aid, travel abroad, gap years, housing, in-state vs. out-of-state to military service, I’ve worked with Vicky for over eight years covering an array of paths fitted to each son.  My oldest is completing his construction engineering degree at the University of Maine, Orono, my second is a decorated Marine, my third is a junior mechanical engineering major at the University of Vermont doing an internship year abroad and Vicky and I are currently in the process with my youngest, a high school senior.  If you need expert guidance and support for the long-haul, I highly recommend Vicky to take you through the process.”

“I highly recommend Victoria Celestin as an Education Consultant. I believe she is a tremendous asset in this capacity. She developed a valuable program, NUCLEUS, at the University of Delaware which was instrumental in guiding me to achieve my goals.

I attended University of Delaware Summer Enrichment Program which included many seminars and programs conducted by Ms. Celestin. I still remember the advice she gave us regarding time management and keeping our eyes on our long-term goals. Throughout my years at the University of Delaware, the NUCLEUS program was a rich resource for me and my classmates. I was able to find tutoring for science classes, information on graduate schools and study material for graduate exams such as the GRE and MCAT.

One of the valuable resources that Ms. Celestin provided for me was the individual advisement sessions. She took the time to get to know me and to understand my strengths and areas to improve. She gave me support and encouragement and made sure I was staying on track to achieve my goals. I desired to pursue a career in Physical Therapy.  She helped me to focus on what prerequisite classes I would need for the graduate programs I was interested in and helped me to incorporate those classes into my schedule planning for each semester of my undergraduate classes.

Ms. Celestin informed us of the immense value of observing professionals performing the jobs were interested in.  She assisted me in finding my first volunteer job in the field during my Freshman year at the University of Delaware. That role became a paid position for me which was a valuable experience for the next seven years while I completed undergraduate and graduate studies. I attended graduate school at Belmont University and received a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.  Due to the professional network I had established while completing my studies, I was recruited for my first professional job role upon graduation. I credit Ms. Celestin for giving me the tools I needed to be successful in realizing my professional dreams.

I strongly believe that Victoria Celestin is an exceptional Educational Consultant. My peers and I were able to benefit greatly from her expertise and the NUCLEUS program she designed, and I know that she will be valuable as an Education Consultant to all that have the opportunity to be guided by her.”

I am writing this letter to recommend Victoria Celestin to international students and their parents.

For several years, Victoria has worked with me as an English teacher in the formats of 1 to 1 and small classes, and advisor to students in China.  Since she is in US while the students are in China, she teaches them by internet, which is challenging for some teachers. But she got used to the teaching style very quickly and has done a great job. She’s creative in her dynamic curriculum and holistic instruction which consistently helps these students experience intellectually and culturally American-English learning environments, the differences between Chinese and American classrooms. I highly recommend her college consulting services because of how she collaborates and supports students and their families to overcome the real challenges of navigating Western education systems all while honoring their family values.  With Victoria, your child is in good hands.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any question.

“Ms. Celestin provides an outstanding college admission guidance experience.  She is easy to work with and extremely personable.  She is genuinely involved in student’s success and highly recommended, especially for her diversity and experience in different aspects of the college application process.  Not only was my son accepted at a great school but he was also awarded a 4-year partial scholarship!”

Diane Hagopian

Parent, Class of 2022 Admitted College Student, Homemaker, N. Attleboro, MA

“Ms. Celestin was hired as a substitute, yet skipped lunch and breaks and spent her time trying to help me organize the students who were scheduled to complete their plans and resumes. Although the students met her for the first time when she called them down, I observed them working with her and she engaged them in discussions of their current and future goals and plans. She explained everything to them thoroughly and several of the seniors made appointments with her so they could discuss their plans further. Ms. Celestin has a wealth of information to offer students and was very comfortable leading presentations and discussing college, work and military options.”

“I officially endorse Victoria Celestin as an extremely qualified Education Consultant with the complete capacity to excel and effect positive change in the field of education. I was fortunate to meet Mrs. Celestin while participating as a student in the Summer Enrichment Program at the University of Delaware in 1992. Her personal guidance and professional counseling started me and my fellow students on the path to academic and professional success. She imparted upon our young minds the values of hard work, resilience, and discipline that enabled us to undertake advanced educational endeavors. Her professional philosophy showed us how to achieve long-term goals by making the right day to day decisions.

Mrs. Celestin created the NUCLEUS program that provided us with a wealth of educational resources, from tutoring to networking and volunteering opportunities. She ensured each of her students received personalized help in weak areas and helped us choose career paths that best fit our capabilities and interests. Most importantly, she enabled us to set our goals as high as we wanted to, with the knowledge that she would help us achieved them.
I am certain that my fellow students who are now successful professionals in a variety of fields would agree that Victoria Celestin’s hard work and dedication to her students is a major factor in their achievements. Her guidance and mentorship expanded beyond the professional realm, teaching us to be loyal, honest and kind individuals.”

Guillermo A. Navarro MD

“My son entered his first year of high school this past year and it quickly became clear that he would benefit from some added support. We were blessed to find Victoria. She not only helped him in his English, History, and Math subjects, but she also helped him with time and stress management. Most sessions were done in person, but she was also willing to do facetime sessions when it was unexpectantly needed. Victoria is extremely intelligent, responsible, patient, approachable, and kind. Rather than dread his tutoring, our son looked forward to the sessions and even asked to increase the number each week. Victoria helped to strengthen his skills, and also increase his self-confidence. We feel very lucky she came into our lives!”
